Role Play

We just love to imaginatively play in the Childcare Centre! We are always using our imagination and creative thinking in most areas of play in nursery such as in the small world area, in our construction play and during arts and crafts activities. Through imaginative play, children learn critical thinking skills, how to follow simple instructions, develop social skills whilst also building their receptive and expressive language.

We are very lucky in the Childcare Centre that our clever adults will observe the children's role play and use their interests to influence what further imaginative role play oppourtunities could be developed. As of recent, this has looked like a flower shop, a beauty salon and a camp site!
