Welcome to Ellergreen Nursery School and Childcare Centre's website.

I hope that by viewing this site you will find the information you require about our Nursery School and Childcare Centre.  I am very proud of the high quality Early Years education with care we offer for children from the age of 2 years to 5 years of age. My whole staff team endeavour to create a nurturing, stimulating and exciting learning environment.

Ofsted acknowledged this in January 2020 when we were graded outstanding in all areas of the Education Inspection Framework.  Inspectors praised our staff for "going the extra mile" to make sure children progress. The report read there are many notable strengths at Ellergreen "One is the exceptional way in which the staff cater for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND).  The staff have the same high expectations for all children who attend the school. They go the extra mile to make sure that all children make progress in their learning and are ready for school"
