Broadening Horizons. Brightening Futures
Next week promises to be another busy and exciting week for our children. We are pleased to announce that representatives from Road Safety will be visiting to talk to the children about staying safe while out and about. This session will provide valuable information on how to cross the road safely and the importance of being aware of our surroundings.
In addition to road safety, the children will also engage in learning about internet safety through the delightful character of Smartie the Penguin. This interactive session will help our young learners understand the basics of staying safe online in a fun and engaging manner.
We will be reading the enchanting story Lost and Found by Oliver Jeffers. This beautifully illustrated tale follows a boy who embarks on a journey to return a lost penguin to its home at the South Pole. Throughout the story, the children will explore themes of friendship, compassion, and the true meaning of home. As the boy and the penguin face various challenges together, they learn valuable lessons about connection and the importance of caring for one another.
Furthermore, we will be introducing the children to Arctic animals, which will tie in nicely with our discussions about winter. As the weather begins to change, we will start to think about Christmas and the various traditions associated with this festive season.
As the temperatures drop, please ensure that your child is wrapped up warm with a suitable coat, hat, and gloves. Keeping our children comfortable and warm is essential for their enjoyment and engagement in outdoor activities.
We look forward to a week filled with learning, fun, and new experiences for our little ones!
