Ellergreen Nursery School closes Thursday 23rd October / Room on the Broom

Next week is a four-day week as the children will finish on Thursday, 23rd October 2025. We are excited to announce that our Neli book for the week will be "Room on the Broom" by Julia Donaldson. In line with this delightful story, the children will have the chance to become scientists, witches, and wizards as they create potions that will, “…bubble,” “…fizz,” and even “…explode.”

As autumn has now arrived, we will also be reflecting on the festivals we celebrate during this season, with a special focus on Diwali. Our groups will engage in activities that highlight this important festival, fostering an understanding of different traditions. Additionally, we will explore the tradition of pumpkin carving, examining the fascinating aspects of pumpkins, both inside and out. We look forward to an engaging and enjoyable week ahead!
