The Queen's Platinum Jubilee 2022
To celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee the children helped prepare decorations for the classroom using their fine motor skills, designed crowns just like her majesty's and made a delicious picnic banquet to share. As well as learning more about the Queen, there was also lots of maths learning too. We revised 2D shapes as we decorated our crowns, read numerals and counted coins as we bought the ingredients for our cakes and learnt about sharing quantities, as we cut our sandwiches into parts of a whole.
