Butterfly Hatching 2022
We received a special delivery of wriggly friends, with the children getting very excited to guess what they could be. After watching the very hungry caterpillars grow rapidly into large hairy caterpillars, we were amazed as they all travelled to the lid of their pot, attached themselves and within a day transformed into chrysalis. It took just over a week for our wriggly hairy friends to metamorphose into beautiful Painted Lady butterflies. Then the nursery children all gathered together to release the butterflies on a beautiful sunny day.
